Apple’s AirPods Wireless Headphones offer an iconic look, exceptional features and powerful audio quality. They come with a premium price tag, however, so it’s important to shop for a good deal, or look for a bunch of tech experts who will do it for you. That’s where we come from.
In this article we’ve rounded up the best AirPod discounts and bundle deals to help you save money. We got the best prices on the new AirPods launched in October 2021 and we made excellent deals on AirPods Pro, AirPods and AirPods Max in early 2019.
Best AirPods Deals
Apple sells two sets of Basic AirPods: the new third-gen model for 2021 (MSRP $ 179 in the US and RRP £ 169 in the UK), and the second-gen model from 2019 ($ 129 / £ 119).

AirPods (third generation, 2021; MSRP $ 179)
Apple finally updated the super-popular AirPod last October after more than two and a half years of waiting. The newer models have a more pro-like design and a magsafe-compatible charging case; They have improved battery life and water resistance, and support for spatial audio. You see, it’s a struggle to find a huge discount, but you shouldn’t pay the full price right now. Best Buy AirPod sells for $ 169 (দাম 10 off Apple) but that deal seems to be over; Amazon, meanwhile, is generally good for a small discount but currently out of stock. If you can’t find these earbuds below MSRP, we recommend waiting for a better price.
In the UK, John Lewis, AO, Currys and Amazon all have 3rd-gen AirPods at £ 159, or £ 10 off RRP… but Laptops Direct has advanced with a price of £ 149. We recommend that you visit multiple sites to check delivery charges in your area and keep in mind that John Lewis offers a long guarantee.
AirPods (second generation, 2019; MSRP $ 129)
Note that this version of the AirPods comes with an old-fashioned charging case that needs to be plugged in, as opposed to the wireless charging case bundled with the 2021 AirPods and AirPods Pro. (Although, you can buy a wireless charging case separately.)

Apple is your Baseline, selling in the US for 9 129, but you’ll be able to get discounts elsewhere. Like the third-generation AirPods, however, Best Buy has withdrawn which was a very attractive deal: the 2019 AirPods were recently 109.99, but returned to the MSRP of $ 129. It may be worth the wait.
In the UK, John Lewis, Caris, Amazon and Verrie have all been able to shave off Apple’s RRP for £ 10, selling for an impressive £ 109. (Note, however, that the same sites recently sold for £ 99 in March, so it may be worth the wait to see if prices fall again.)
Even if it seems too expensive, you may still be able to get first-generation airpods from 2016; We’ve seen them on eBay for $ 50- $ 60 যদিও albeit pre-owned, which can be off-putting for earbuds! – under £ 80 on eBay UK. Alternatively, you can check out our guide to the best AirPod options.

AirPods Pro was released in 2019 and we expect a new version to arrive later this year. If you buy directly, Apple will sell you AirPods Pro for 249 / £ 239, but there are better offers elsewhere. In the UK, John Lewis, AO and Laptops Direct are all selling AirPods Pro for £ 189 (an excellent বর্তমান 50 off current RRP); Check with all of them to see if there are delivery charges for your area. All else being equal, we will go with John Lewis for a two year guarantee.
Best AirPods Max Deals
At the moment, the AirPods Max is available for purchase directly from Apple at 549 / £ 549. Headphones are also available from Best Buy in the United States

Amazon is the best bet in the US right now, selling all five colors for $ 479, saving $ 70. It’s also worth a Best Buy check, as it recently advertised the AirPods Max for just 449, but at the time of writing the site was charging 499.99.
In the UK, until recently Laptops Direct had at least one color finish for less than £ 400, but the best it can handle now is £ 429 on the pink, green, blue and silver models. (The site does not appear to have any stock in the Space Gray version.) Check to see if Amazon can do better with the color of your choice.

How to get a good deal on AirPods
Good airpod deals are rare and not long lasting. If you see one (and you’re sure the supplier is legitimate: if you haven’t bought one before, check it out at TrustPilot), grab it.
The recommended price of AirPods Max is $ 549 / £ 549 / AU $ 899
For AirPods Pro it’s $ 249 / £ 239 / AU $ 399.
This is $ 129 / £ 119 / AU $ 219 for early 2019 AirPods.
You should never pay more than these prices: We’ve seen unscrupulous retailers claim that MSRP / RRP is high and that ‘savings’ work based on it.
The 2016 AirPods were removed from sale as soon as the early 2019 models came out, so their launch price has never been officially reduced from $ 159 / £ 159. But if you are obese for this much older model, you do not have to pay $ 100. If you can’t find a really good deal, go for the new ones instead.
Be sure to consider delivery and postal fees when evaluating deals; We include it in our price lists but most retailers won’t add it until you checkout. And beware of deals that seem too good to be true, but have no stock. This is what we see a lot.
Bundle Deal
The best way to get a good price on AirPods might be to bundle them up with a phone, although this is basically an option in the UK.
Offers different bundles including three airpods. Visit the company’s accessories page to browse the best options for you.
EE lets you add AirPods to your plan for a spread of মাস 10 per month for 11 months, up to £ 10 upfront fee (if you settle for the 2019 model), or £ 15 + মাসে 10 per month for the 2021 model. AirPods Pro with new Magsaf Case for 2021, 22 22 per month but without any advance fees. In each case you have to click Apple, then the AirPods model of your choice.
Vodafone and O2 do not currently bundle AirPods with their iPhone plans, although O2 sells 2021 AirPods, early 2019 AirPods and AirPods Pro themselves.
No matter which bundle you go for, be sure to check out the AirPods Pro, early 2019 AirPods (sometimes called Second-Gen or AirPods 2) or the new 2021 AirPods (Third-Gen or AirPods 3). If you’re getting the AirPods Pro, check to see if they include a new MagSafe charging case.
Tips for buying an AirPod
Wondering if a pair of airpods is right for you? Let’s discuss its advantages and disadvantages.
First, there are four models, three of which are still on sale: the original AirPods (2016), long overdue; Early 2019 AirPods, which are similar but add Hey Siri; Late 2019 AirPods Pro, which adds improved audio quality and active noise cancellation and a new design; And the 2021 AirPod, which adds MagSafe support, improved battery life and some elements of Pro design.
(There are also AirPods Max from 2020, which are completely different products from over-the-ear headphones and basically the rest of the AirPods range. That’s why we’ll discuss the Max model separately.)
Four non-Max models are wireless, sitting in your ear and staying there theoretically fit alone. The advantages are obvious-they allow you to run or exercise without having to worry about snatching cables কিন্তু but they can fall if you speed up. But our experience is that AirPods are one of the best earbuds in this field.
AirPods Pro offers a snagger fit more than others because they have a choice of flexible ear tips and are actually able to tell you if you have chosen the right tip.
Sound quality is decent but original and not exceptional in early 2019 models; AirPods Pro is one step ahead thanks to their well-fitted and active noise cancellation implementation. (We haven’t tested the audio quality of the 2021 AirPod yet, but Apple always says it’s a good game.) What makes the AirPod consistently better than non-Apple headphones is the integration with other Apple products, thanks to the W1 chip (the 2016 model) and the H1. Chips (2019 and 2021) that turn the pairing of an iPhone into air.
According to the battery, most non-Max AirPods will last about five hours, but that’s not the end of the story: they come with a small charging case with its own large battery, so you can pop them in again for a quick top up. An additional 24 hours should be offered (given or taken) before the case needs to be charged. The 2021 AirPods, of course, offer more in this category, with six hours and a total of 30 hours between the claimed figures. Apple’s 2019 AirPods can respond to Hei Siri commands, charge wirelessly if you choose a wireless charging case, and offer more talk time than the original. These features have been incorporated into the 2021 models, incorporating spatial audio and adaptive EQ blends.

AirPods Max is much more expensive and offers completely different. Audio quality is almost universally considered exceptional, but it is debatable whether it is exceptional enough to justify that premium price tag. And many reviewers have noted that the case is strangely designed, due to the fact that the part of the headphones that do not protect it – the fake headband – is most at risk of damage.
The AirPods Max is an attractive prospect, but unlikely to be practical for most budgets.
