Hackade Podcast 168: Math Flatness Spheres, FPGAs mimic arcades and we can’t

Join Hacked Editor-in-Chief Elliott Williams and Staff Writer Dan Maloney as they review top hacks for the week. It was a real retro-fest this time around, learning from a C64 (mostly) newcomer, an Altoids Altair, and FPGA through the classic video game. We also looked at LCD sniffing to capture data from older devices, redesigned the color code of the resistor, redesigned the magic of the Polaroid Instant Camera, and made a trip down the memory lane of the television. But it wasn’t all that old-fashioned – a sphere flat-packed with math, a fine finish spray on 3D printed parts, a DRM-free label printer and see what’s inside that smartphone in your pocket – some really weird optics
