What’s the difference between an Apple Certified Refurbished Store and an Apple Store?
The Apple Certified Refurbished store sells gently used products returned to the company. Apple repairs and tests these products to make sure they are in good condition. The Apple Store, however, only sells new products Never Open and used.

What does “certified renewal” mean?
Apple Certified Refurbished Store items are products that other customers have purchased and returned. Apple calls these products “rigorous renewal processes” before placing them on virtual shelves.
