There are plenty of small USB-C chargers to get your iPhone or iPad along the way, but none of them are adorable: Crowdfunding company Sharjik has developed a tiny portable charger that looks like a miniature replica of Apple’s first Macintosh – smiling happy Mac face and all.
Of course, Shargeek is not affiliated with Apple and goes out of its way to call the plugin “retro” and “a tribute” instead of Macintosh. But it is undoubtedly inspired by Apple’s classic design, with disc cutouts on the front and the Rainbow logo. It’s nice, you’ll want to find a way to keep it as visible on your desk as possible, as Shargeek’s pictures can prove.

You may want to display the Retro 35 charger in a prominent place on your desk.

Plus supports all charging standards and uses a series of lights to illuminate the screen when charging your device: yellow when charging, blue when charging fast, green when super charging and white when not charging. It comes with multiple stickers for “display” and encourages users to create their own, but you’ll probably want to stick with Happy Mac.
The Retro 35 has a single USB-C port with 35W output. It has a US plug but UK, EU and EU adapters are available for 5.
Shargeek says the MSRP for Retro 35 will be $ 49 but is offering 50 percent savings for early Indiegogo supporters. It is expected to be rolled out in July but like all crowdfunding campaigns, there could be delays.
