WWDC: Last minute rumors
Apple Store Down: As usual, Apple has launched its online store in preparation for today’s keynote address. The message is different রয়েছে instead of “Be right back” with an Apple logo, there is a WWDC image with the heading “Developing news”. Below it is written “We are updating the Apple Store. Adding fuel to the fire of rumors, a list of 14-inch MacBook Air with M2 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage has been discovered in the B&H photo. However, a Tweet By Shawn C. Steiner, who identifies himself as a B&H senior manager of web creative content, says B&H has previously created a list of products that are “speculated based on rumors” (more on this), and what is happening here. 13-inch MacBook Pro: Gurman said the 13-inch MacBook Pro has been “dropped” due to a schedule supply crisis and will probably launch in the fall. 9to5Mac also unveiled a list of B&H photos for a 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M2 processor, but again, this is probably a B&H guess based on rumors.
Mac Mini Tower: Another B&H picture list, for a Mac mini tower with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and an M1 Pro processor. A B&H representative stated that the listing was intended as a “last resort” and was never removed from the site.
M2 Mac Mini: Another B&H photo “guess” list that has never been downloaded is an M2 Mac Mini with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Mac Pro: Ian Zelbo, the artist responsible for the front page tech Apple concept image, thinks B&H has also released an upcoming release of the Apple Silicon Mac Pro, labeling the current model as an “item off”. (Although, we can’t support it. All the Mac Pro models we see there appear to be available for purchase, with expected deliveries ranging from two to eight weeks.)
Jelbo has also claimed that Apple has set its Mac Pro intro video privately on YouTube, which could be another source for a new Mac Pro.
AR headset: While there was some expectation that Apple would offer a preview of its upcoming AR headset, reports now say it is unlikely to attend the event.
